What do you do when you quit your job?!

So, many of you might already know I quit my job as a secondary school teacher after 7 years this summer.

So all summer long I've been asked the question:

"So what are you going to do?"

My response of: "I have no idea yet, I have no plans." Was met with many a bemused face!

Most people were polite and changed the subject. Others, I suppose, presumed I was either mad or was going to be a kept woman! (Neither being true!)

Sometimes I'd say "I will probably do some supply teaching to pay the bills." Which used to pacify most people and stop them thinking I was totally mad or spoilt.

Little did they know really I wanted to say:

"I've no idea yet, I've put in my order to the universe asking for a perfect opportunity to work with and help teens, to earn money doing what I love and to be able to use my unique gifts to serve the world in a way only I can, so I'm just waiting really, I've been brave and given up my job so I have the free time to be able to allow this into my life. I'm really excited at what the universe has in store for me. I've put my order in, now I'm just waiting! "

Can you imagine having THAT conversation?!

But quite honestly, that is exactly what I have done. I had no idea what I was going to do. Ideas like "being a billionaire blogger", and artist, writing a best seller and plain old EFT sessions all filled my mind. But only because they seem logical to me. Logical ideas, and logical ideas certainly didn't float my boat.

I was determined not to make solid plans, not to shoehorn myself into a hole which I couldn't get out of. I was determined to let The Law of Attraction do its job properly.

I knew this time last year that teaching wasn't for me. My stomach churned each time I thought of going back to work. I just knew I was miserable, unfulfilled and a million miles away from being me.

This doesn't mean I regret my teaching career, far from it! I know I wouldn't have got to this point without being a teacher.

So, I made a decision in November 2014 to hand in my notice. Would you believe I didn't even tell anyone. Not even my partner! I knew this was a decision I had to make alone.

It was the scariest thing ever. I cried telling my boss, I cried writing the letter,   I cried telling my colleges. I cried every time I thought about the future - but I knew it was right. I felt like a weight had been lifted off me. I felt free.

But I knew I had to be disciplined - no worrying or thinking about the future. Just spending each day doing as much stuff as I could that brought me joy (walking, nature, family time, yoga,  meditation,  art and painting) and being grateful.

I spent almost whole year doing this.

I started writing wish lists every month or so. Almost like little mini prayers or orders to the universe. What's normally called 'intention setting'.

I wrote things like "please help me find more ways of helping teens", "I pray that I can find a way to make money doing what I love" and "please help me use my gifts and share them with the world so I can help people see their own light".

I would list what I loved and what I wanted more of, and the reasons why I wanted these things to happen
"It is time to hold the intention of bringing up generations of happy, enlightened, peaceful children who are able to develop their potential in the highest possible way." (Quote extracted from "The Angels Guide to Ascension" D. Cooper)
THIS, this is why I wanted what I wanted. Yes, I wanted to helps teens and do what I love for my own intrinsic reasons, but more so, I wanted to contribute to a global change and shift.

I'd also state what I was going to do to make sure this stuff
happened (you have to actually work at this LOA stuff! You can't simply ask, you have to get stuck in and take action!) And I asked the universe to help me with the stuff I couldn't control.

Part of my bargain was to write, be brave, share my experiences, do art, be an inspiration, practise kindness, meditate, learn as much as I could about myself, forgive and let go, live with integrity. I promised to be and do these things and practise what I love daily, this included me practising self love as much as I could and valuing my self worth.

So for near on a year now I've been asking everyday, focusing on my intention, I've been actioning what I promised and little by little I was presented with exactly what I was asking for. Not the full shebang, I still had a job and the universes' timing is always spot on.

Anyway, fast forward to last week. The 5th week of my school holidays.  The eve of the super full moon August 2015. The day I woke up light a free and with a sense of peace.

I was Instagram stalking some page and it mentioned this woman and a course she ran called "Teen Yoga". Awesome I thought; I'd love to do something like that, I bet it's in the USA....

Nope!

It was run in England and even linked to Leeds University, who are using the course to gather evidence into how meditation can help teens. AMAZING.

Bet it's super expensive, I thought.

Nope!

Well it's well within my budget!  I've seen courses before and they've ran into the £1000s.

Bet is in London, I thought,

NOPE again!

There's a course less than an hour away from me and on days I can attend!

Bet I can't do it because I'm not a yoga teacher, I thought.

NOPE AGAIN!

Because in was a qualified teacher I could do the course. That was my qualifying attribute!

So it was in travelling distance, in my price range and I had the credentials to do the course.

But YOGA? Well in truth it was yoga that opened me up to energy about 8-9 years ago. I had a Geri Halliwell Yoga DVD and I did it almost every day. I was addicted to the feeling it gave me. My energy was flowing correctly and it felt amazing. From here I dabbled and dipped in and out of classes and self practice but it was when I found my friend Julie's classes I was well and truly hooked back in. I've always loved yoga, but the thought to ever do it for myself, never entered my head.

Teen Yoga for me is one way I can access and help the age group I want to, learn more about the age group and the physiology ans psychology (which is so intriguing to me), I can help them discover their 'energy' and maybe start their journey into their own spirituality, just like it did for me.

Yoga was my introduction to mediation and I believe for someone to get into mediation properly they have to have some experience with stillness and breathing.

I love yoga! I love chakras (the course even has modules on chakras!) And I love promoting mindfulness - the course has modules on that too!

So, I asked and waited and it has most definitely been given! I didn't ask for a yoga course, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. Everything I blog about now can feed into teen yoga! What I love doing and teaching teens about is mediation and mindfulness.. tah dah!!
So now, people ask me and I have an answer. I'm going to train to teach teenagers Yoga, meditation and mindfulness!! Woo hoo!

I'm going to continue to write, because well I frigging love it and know I can help and inspire ladies, women and girls through this method. I also have SO much still in me to write about :) I have a dream of writing a self help book for teens too. I've set myself a deadline, so watch this space ;)

I have to pay my bills of course, so I've signed up to do some supply teaching - not my ideal scenario, so I'm asking for other ways to make money whilst I wait to my course! But supply teaching will pay the bills - for now!

So here you go guys. Dreams do come true and here's proof that if you can trust, let go and live as authentically as possible, the stuff you don't even know you want finds it's way into your life ;) It's physics!

I'm certainly not perfect. .. I've had ups and downs, I've also done a lot of work. I've invested in myself through courses, spiritual healing sessions, books etc. I've attended The Art of Living mediation course, which I've mentioned before, I've had Thetta Healing sessions with Susan Kennard, I've had energy sessions with Dan Sainsbury, I've read books such as 'The Impersonal Life' by J Banner and 'The Angels Guide to Ascension' By D Cooper, 'Light is the New Black' By Rebecca Campbell and I've learned loads about angels and crystals and learned how to clear my space. I've also followed all of Elizabeth Peru's work and I subscribe to her energy tip-off. Oh and I've don't a LOT of tapping!

I haven't just been happy for a year! LOL

I'm feeling like Im letting my ego get the better of me today, I'm feeling insecure about sharing this, like people will judge me or I that I'm boasting - IM NOT!!

I love sharing and documenting my journey - the fact that people read it is a bonus. My reason for blogging this stuff is to help and inspire others, to make people who felt or feel like me feel less alone. Thats it. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I love writing it!

I really hope my story will inspire some people, I've been inspired by some amazing women around me and in my circles, who cheered me on, supported me and I'm so thankful for them for leading the way and making me believe in myself and showing me that this is possible.

I'm 100% know if more of us rise up and follow our light, passions and loves (please read Rebecca's Book "Light is the new black") then the world will be a better place.

I'm doing it for this little dot in the picture below. My world. My angel and my inspiration. I love you forever my little girl xxx

Judgement and Comparison ... how I stopped my habit

OK so this blog is something that I never expected to be writing about. But it was just there in my head and I couldn't ignore it.

It's all about learning to manage my ikky 'comparison and judgement' habit. I've never shared it here on my blog before because well, it's a bit embarrassing to admit, but I figured it was time to be totally transparent.... so here goes!

It's possibly my biggest flaw and downfall. It trips me up when I least expect it to and it causes me the most hurt and harm. It makes me jealous of others and feeds the lower energies of my ego. I HATE it!

I've struggled with this for most of my life, and I wanted to share my experiences of it to help anyone who might feel and do the same as me, so you don't feel so alone and hopefully help you along on your path of being happy and content in your own skin and life.

We live in a world where women are judged for EVERYTHING they do, say and wear; from celebrities to our 'friends' on Facebook, and as cringe-full as it is to admit - I have a habit of doing it alllll the time. Or at least I used to - it's something I'm working on! The same goes for comparing myself - Comparing my life to that of my 'friends' on Facebook or the trendy yoga girl on Instagram I follow.

Because we now have access to such a range and wealth of images, magazines, blogs, vlogs, people's daily lives (thanks Facebook!) and such, we literally have hundreds of people that we are able to compare ourselves to or judge whenever we are feeling a little low, a little lost or when something bad happens to us.

It's pretty much one of the most damaging things you can do. Trust me, I've done it most of my life.

For me it started from being a young child, trying to fit into the world. A world where I felt very, very insecure about who I was because I felt different, so I did everything I could to fit in.

This meant meticulously comparing and measuring myself up to other people and adjusting myself to make me 'acceptable' and 'likeable' to those around me. I'm a very good intuitive analysis!

And it's a habit I've carried on throughout my adult life. A habit that so hard to break. A habit that's one of the main reasons I kept myself hidden and small for such a long time. A habit which prevented me from following my dreams.

You see, because I was always trying to fit in, I lost touch with who I was and this made me unhappy. I've blogged before about doing what YOU love and following your purpose. You can read more about that here.. It's such an important topic for me. It fires me up and I urge you to read that blog, because each and everyone of us has the right to be following our life purpose (and trust me, we ALL have one).

I believe most of us at some point, lose touch with who we truly are through life experience or trauma. And instead of learning and growing from that we end up in victim mode, unhappy and pushed further from our authentic, true self, far, far away from who we are. Just like I did.

And being out of touch with who we truly are (aka: being happy and fulfilled) makes us unhappy and more likely to be focusing on other peoples lives rather than our own.

What I mean by this is: our life experiences shape our beliefs about ourselves and our traumas kick out of us our authentic, happy self, and we go into victim mode. Now, because we have so much information about other people at our finger tips, it's easy to start comparing our lives and judging other people. By no means does this make us feel better about ourselves. Not at all. But we still do it right?

In short, if we are unhappy in our own lives, maybe we are a little bit 'lost', we don't know who 'we' are -  we start critiquing others, judging them makes us feel a bit better about our crappy life.

For me, this was the case and up until very recently, I still had a hard time knowing who I truly was, what made me happy and what I should be doing with my life, because I had this childhood habit of desperately wanting to fit in, never stopping for long enough to listen to my inner voice, never stopping to do what I loved, never filling my own self up, never nurturing my own desires, needs and wants. Never. Just doing whatever it took to fit in. I was so scared of being made fun of, or having no friends!

What I've learned...

In short, everyone has a story. Everyone has a past.  Everyone is battling something you know nothing about.
No one's Facebook profile is a true reflection of their lives. No ones public persona is a true reflection of how they FEEL inside.

No one, apart from my close friends and family, knew that for three years me and my family were placed under enormous pressure and that my partner had depression and that our lives were in a mess. I never put THAT on facebook! And neither does anyone else. No one shares their deepest times.  So while it all looks rosey and happy, it's probably not.

That skinny, pretty girl who you're jealous of, probably has a trauma or past or background you know nothing about. She most likely battles everyday with her own personal drama. Forgive her, be kind and let it go.

What you can do...

1. Focus on you. That sounds too simple, but part of my 'rehab' was to eliminate anyone or anything out of my life that made me a smidgen jealous or that I compared myself to. Restricting my social media time helped, but unfollowing pages and people on FB and Instagram helped. Seriously, looking at pictures of '#squatchallenge' didn't make me feel good!! If I found myself comparing myself to anyone I immediately put down my phone and walked away. Life is too short.

Seriously focus on you..

2. BE KIND! Now this is a toughie, but if you can in still in your mind that everyone is made from the same source, we are all one - humanity - then you can start to learn to love everyone. You don't have to physically love them, but wanting the best for everyone - even people that have hurt you or caused you pain - can cause huge upshifts in your behaviour and thoughts. I did a lot of this through EFT (if you'd like to know more about EFT sessions with me then please get in touch), I was able to forgive people and let go of anger and resentment and even mild annoyances!!

I fricking LOVE EFT for being able to do that! Something so silly that annoys you about someone can literally be tapped away in a matter of minutes!

3. Forgive and send out loving thoughts and they will return to you. I'm a huge beliver in the Law of Attraction, which is gaining more popularity in books like "The Secret" and people like Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer have also made it more well known. I'm a huge fan of "Ask and it is given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks, or anything from the Abraham Hicks collection. If these call you. .. check them out ;) The Law Of Attraction, in a nutshell, is the belief that like attracts like and what you think about, wether positive or negative, you bring about. You shape your life experience through your thoughts.

It took me AGES to get my head around this and step out of my ego to see that I was the creator of my life experience. I was in victim made for a long time and thought that life happened to me.

I didn't realise how much control over my own life I had. Once I understood that my thoughts, words and actions created my life experience, my life turned on its head. An amazing book which introduced me to changing my thoughts, was Susan Jeffers "Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway", I HIGHLY recommend it.

4. Making a pact to not slag people off or bitch about people with your friends can make a huge difference too. What you think, speak and feel, will be returned to you via karma and law of attraction. If you're constantly bitching and moaning about other people; people will be bitching and moaning about you too - and it's not always the people you expect it to be and it may come at a time when you least expect it. Everything that happens to us is a direct result of a past action, thought or feeling/expectation, wether you believe so or not! It's really hard to do this ALL the time, but making a small step in the right direction is more than worthwhile! BE KIND!

5. Quotes like these I have featured in this blog and especially:  "A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms" are also ace to have around, to remind you that it's so important to focus on yourself.

6. When I competed my Art of Living Meditation course, I left feeling like I knew the 10 people on the course with me, like really knew them. I loved every single one of them, the course broke down huge parts of my ego and I left totally in love with the whole of humanity. Now that makes me sound like a total crack pot - but seriously; from then on I personally was able to let go of my habit of comparison and judgement and anytime it cropped up in a new situation I am able to replace it with the feeling of love and kindness. I owe so much to that course and the meditation/breathing techniques it taught me! Meditation was a huge catalyst for me. It again, took me ages to get into properly, but now, I do it every day. It's the one thing that isn't negotiable. Meditation changed my life! I used to think I wasn't spiritual or special enough to meditate. I thought it was a waste of time and that I was too stressed and busy to do it.

Once I got over myself and realised that I could do anything, I tried all sorts of meditation before I found what was right for me. A good place to start is 'guided meditations' on YouTube, a Yoga class, an App called 'Sattva' or breathing Apps. I had to play around for a while until I found what was right for me, you might have to too. Keep with it :)

7. Forgive. Forgivness creates peace and peace creates love. The more you practice this the easier it gets. Try writing a forgiveness letter to whoever has hurt you. If there's still anger there, I urge you to try EFT - it really shifts anger! I promise, I will post an anger tapping video soon!

8. Do what YOU love. Not what other people do. If something makes you uncomfortable, don't do it. Focus only on what you like doing. Learning to say no to everything else is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Do what you love to do - whatever it is. My mentor once asked me "when was the last time you felt like you?" ... even I was shocked at the answer. At 31 years old, the last time I felt like 'me' was when in was doing my GCSE Art exam. From that day I started doing art again.  I redrew my GCSE art piece and bought myself an easel and some proper pencils!  I decided to stop watching TV every evening and dedicate part of my week to doing something I loved.

Ask yourself the same question... "when did you last feel like you?" Or "what were you doing the last time you felt like you were "in the flow" or doing what you were supposed to be doing?"

The answer might surprise you! If any old beliefs or blocks surface in your mind about why you CANT do it, write them down and analyse where they've come from. Don't let anything stop you from being you.

9. Give gratitude EVERYDAY. As I write this I'm in gratitude rehab because my daily gratitude habit has slipped slightly. And didn't I notice a difference? ! HUGE difference in my thoughts and attitudes. I found myself being miserable for no reason and this was after just over a week of not doing my daily graitide journal. A WEEK!  See my blog on gratitude here.

In short (!) How I got over my habit of comparison and judgement was to practice kindness to ALL and concentrate on myself. Simple!

A Blog About Love is AMAZING! I love it. Danny and Mara blog about relationships, fertility, marriage, spirituality and all things LOVE. Here's an exert and link to their Blog:

"If you are dwelling in negativity and self criticism, guaranteed it will spew over to your husbands, kids, boyfriends, girlfriends, family and coworkers.  You can't really hide that stuff.  And guess what - - it's not attractive.  It doesn't lead to happy marriages and relationships.  So if you are letting your desire for skinniness/riches/fame/attention make you feel negatively, think of the poisonous negative energy you are sending into the world and the effect it is having on others.  Consider that you are teaching your children to live this way as well.  Use your love for others as a catalyst for trying to change your ways.  Love really is the most powerful force that can help us to stay on track." Read more here.

A second blog I found was this by Toni Bernhard (See her bio below)

"A friend of mine likes to joke that dying will be a relief because it will put an end to the “heavy burden of judging” as she calls it. She envisions herself lying in a hospital bed and, moments before death, noticing the ceiling and thinking, “What a hideous green.”
Here’s a modest proposal: Vow that for the rest of the day, you won’t judge your friends and you won’t judge any strangers you happen to see. This would include a friend who’s a non-stop talker; it would include a friend who’s always complaining about his life. It would include the strangers you pass on the street or see in a waiting room." Read more here.

An ode to the Internet!

OK so this is a little off topic, but when I go to bed and try to sleep, I have the most crazy words and stories running through my head, I have to get up and write them down before I can sleep (Thank you Ever note!) Which leads me nicely onto this blog topic!

And ode to the Internet.

My first experience of you was aged about 16, crammed into my best friends spare room, which was just that, spare and full of junk. A tiny box room, with a single bed, a huge computer screen and a modem... what ever the f*ck that was... balanced on a rickety Argos computer desk. One of those desks that would become commonplace in every household of the 90's.

I remember the screech and the alien sound of you in your infancy. Waiting an age to get into a 'chat room'; (my friend was so excited, I really couldn't have cared less,) only to be kicked off because my friends mum wanted to use the land line. (yeah! for real - you couldn't use the land line and the Internet at the same time, and yes, people used the land line religiously!)

I couldn't wait to get back outside and 'see' people. The thought of chatting to some weirdo in a faraway place scared the pants off me and felt, well, weird!

My next memory was at sixth form, I remember being huddled round a screen with some boys watching a foot ball clip. I stepped back and wondered what all the fuss was about. What was this Internet thing? Surely it will never take off. Thank f*ck cos I hated typing.

Truth is, I just wasn't that into you, I couldn't see how you could make my life any better, and to be honest - you scared me.

Now I carry you round in my pocket. My three year old daughter knows more about downloads and you tube and the pitfalls of having no WiFi.

Now you connect me to women and girls all around the world. I'm able to connect with people who I would never in a lifetime meet.  I'm able to make friendships and even make a living out of you.

You connect me to people, information, facts, the world. You allow me to reach out and help. You allow me to share my gifts with potentially - the world.

You allow my best friends daughter and my daughter be virtual best friends, even though they live 1000's of miles apart and have only met once. You allow me and my two best friends keep in contact even though we live in different continents, counties and time zones. We can still communicate like we did when we lived together - whats-apping 'what do you think' pictures from changing rooms and the like.

And although sometimes life is much more simpler with out you. I thank you. Thank you for making my life so rich and abundant. For keeping me in touch with loved ones. For connecting me with souls I need to be connected with. For giving me the information.

Thank you, thank you thank you!

F. E. A.R. Why it has the ability to stop you and what you can do about it!

Fear

Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of the dark, dogs, flying, falling, spiders, fear of looking stupid, being made fun of, being left out, missing out, dying, shining, living, loving, happiness, getting your happily ever after and then not being happy.... Fear Fear Fear.

It crates stagnancy. Stuck-ness. It paralyses. It freezes. It stops us statue-still in our tracks. It makes us think our deepest dreams are just that... dreams.
And dreams should be forgotten. Ignored.

It evokes panic. It creates disappointment, frustration, anger and makes you feel powerless - whatever you're scared of.

Fear is such a passionate topic for me because I spent most of my entire life scared - scared of what people thought of me, missing out, not doing as well as other people, not having enough money, failing, succeeding, frogs.. you name it, I have been scared of it. And the more and more I do this, the more and more young girls I come across who are also scared - but whereas my fear just kept me small, their fear seems to be controlling their lives and evoking panic and extreme anxiety.

Why does fear do this?

Why does fear have so much power?

1. Firstly, fear is a primal instinct. Programmed into us to keep us safe long, long ago, when we needed to be safe to survive; safe from predators, life threatening situations and rival cavemen.

2. Secondly, fear will be heard over every other emotion or signal. And fear is relentless...fear won't subside or go away until the brain perceives the "danger" has gone.

3. And lastly and possibly most importantly, fear has no thermostat. If you (your brain) think or perceive something to be dangerous, whatever the danger is, (whether its looking foolish to being seriously injured) it will evoke the same response. The fight or flight response will be triggered whether you're being chased by an axe man or faced with something which you have developed a fear of; for example doing a presentation, an exam or being in large group. In today's society, we have access to more information and opinions from other people and sources than EVER before. Information and stimulation OVERLOAD seems to be causing more and more people to suffer with the side effects of being in constant fight or flight mode. (See my blog about stress and how EFT can help calm F or F here)

And while this can be exhilarating for some people, it can be debilitating for others.

The brain and mind perceive danger to be so painful, that whatever the danger is, it must be avoided at all costs. Even if it's not life threatening. Que panic attacks, stress, giving up and settling for a quiet mundane life - one where you mull through day to day, never really reaching or fulfilling any part of who you are. Letting fear rule your life experiences.

Whether that's speaking in public, being around large groups of people, quiting your job, choosing a career which 'people' don't approve of, flying, spiders or the endless list of fears I could reel off. Your brain tells you to avoid it at all costs, whether it's life threatening or not. Some people go through life avoiding situations which aren't life threatening, because their brains and minds perceive that situation to be dangerous and so for them; that non life threatening situation becomes a full on threat and danger, and thus is avoided at all costs.

How can we move past fear?

I don't think there is one thing I can attribute to getting over my fear of practically everything - but a culmination of a range of practises.

1. Firstly EFT! EFT moved energetic and emotional blocks for me on a big scale. Whatever you're into, EFT is scientifically proven to reduce the activity of the amygdala (the part responsible for F or F) and in turn, calms its activity. I'm no longer scared of frogs, that's for sure! See my earlier blog posts for more on this.

2. Law of attraction. Cause and effect. What you think about, you bring about. The teachings of Abraham Hicks was life changing for me - I saw how my thoughts of lack, (always worrying that I wouldn't have enough) were actually causing my financial situation. I ordered and bought the Law of attraction CDs and listened to these in my car for about a year! As soon as I started changing my thoughts and imagining my ideal life - things started to change. The "law of attraction" was and is an integral part of my daily life. I try my best to spend as much time as I can imagining what I want next and 'manifesting' it. Cannot recommend this highly enough!

3. Practising gratitude daily, helped with my Law of Attraction and manifesting.

4. Knowing that fear is a primal instinct helped me massively. I'm able to tell my brain that its ok to be scared - and thank it for keeping me safe, but I tell it, this situation isn't as scary as it seems and I would like it to go away! Sometimes I tap while speaking to myself in this way. Remembering I'M the one in control - NOT my body!

5. Crystals and Feng Sui -  citrine in the back left corner of your home is meant to bring financial prosperity. May sound totally crazy, but little things like this help me and evoke belief that everything will be ok.

6. Angels. OK... going totally cray now. I love Arch Angels and Doreen Virtue has a fantastic webpage and Facebook page where you can find an abundance of information about the AA's. Angel card readings have also been lovely. AA Gabriel is my favourite angel right now.

7. I once read a quote which said: "To overcome self-doubt, we have to acknowledge our venerability (fear) but act with confidence." And so I try my best to follow this at all times. When something scares me, like a situation or the result of what might happen as a result of XYZ, I say to my self: "Ok fear, whats really going on here? why is this scaring me so much?" Listening to the answers from my inner voice usually allows me to rationalise the fear. Doing a Warrior pose (video link) whilst doing this and making myself feel really strong helps move the feelings of fear!

8. Not giving a s*it what people think! It's quite an eye opening thing this. I know exactly who I can trust and who's got my back - everyone else simply doesn't matter. If I find my self hung up on one person, I usually tap it out until the feelings subside and then carry on. It's also interesting who gets in touch with you - who's happy to see you happy once you move through fear and do something life changing!

The ones who don't praise you, support you and cheer you on are simply not ready to see you shine brighter than them. Thats not your fault, its their issue. One lasting quote from my Mentor which I will always remember ~ "Its none of your business what other people think of you!" And its NOT! Don't waste your life worrying about what other people think. Who cares?! Let Karma - or Law Of Attraction deal with them. I know what I think about me and what my friends and family think of me - no one else matters!

9. Meditation. Mediation brings peace and calm on an enormous scale. Meditation now moves me inside, where I can hear my inner voice and when I need help or in a fearful situation, I can ask for guidance from my inner voice and I get it. Trusting that it will all be ok and that we are all always looked after. Noticing the physical cues like the burn I get in my chest or the avoidance or procrastination I do when Im scared of completing something, helps me know what I'm really scared of, so I can deal with it.

10. Realising and accepting not every day will be Rosy and carefree! Life is a roller coaster - you just gotta ride it! (This Ronan Keating Lyric is rolling around in my head!) and it is. Up days, down days, middle of the road average days, PJ days, busy days, totally knackering, stressful full-on days, picnic days, family days, alone days, boring days, adventure days. Take them all. Accept them all. I'd love to spend every waking moment nurturing my adventure seeking soul, but if i did, I'd be shattered and probably end up very bored! I'd also love to fill up my artistic soul everyday - but if I did I'd end up with a lack of inspiration, feel frustrated and hate it. Accept that each day will be different and there are no SHOULDS. Never feeling like you should be doing something else. Just be here now.

"Someone once called me fearless, I'm not fearless, I just won't allow fear to stop me!"

I pulled this quote out of a magazine and stuck it right in the centre of my 2015 vision board. No idea why. But it seems to be the theme of 2015 for me! Fear is such a debilitating emotion and more and more young girls are allowing fear to stop them. I'm so passionate about this - I want to help millions of young females move past their fears so that they can shine brightly and light up the world!

Please get in touch if you'd like to know anything about dealing with your fears xx
